How it works
-
Before I design anything, I take time to understand the breadth of your business and how all the pieces connect. From there, I map out what each page needs to do and how the site guides visitors toward action. Everything else is built on this foundation.
-
A custom wordmark, color palette, and typography drawn from you, your values, and the audience you're speaking to, so the visual identity feels like a natural extension of who you are.
-
Every page your work needs, fully designed and built on Squarespace, optimized for desktop and mobile. Includes SEO fundamentals and a seamless connection to your newsletter and lead magnet, so your site is ready to grow your audience from launch day.
-
Page-by-page guides written specifically for the kind of work you do. You'll know exactly what to write and where, without staring at a blank page. Full-service copywriting is available as an add-on..
-
A Notion space that holds your timeline, deadlines, guides, and content in one place, so you're never digging through email threads wondering what's next.
-
A video training library for managing your site plus 30 days of email support after handoff, so you're confident taking the wheel and not left on your own the moment we hit publish.
How it works
-

Clarity Call
This is a free 30-minute video call where we get to know each other. I'll ask about your business, your goals, and what's not working with your current site. You'll get a feel for how I think and whether this feels like a good fit. After our call, I'll put together a personalized proposal with package options based on everything we discussed. If you love what you see, you’ll pay a 34% deposit to book your spot.
-

Discovery
Once you book, you'll get access to your own Notion project portal with a comprehensive strategy questionnaire inside. You'll tell me everything about your business: your work, any offerings, your ideal clients/customers, where your clients or customers come from, what's working, and what's not.
-

Guided Content Prep
Within your Notion portal, you'll also receive comprehensive copywriting guides. Each guide is broken down section by section and walks you through exactly what to write and why. You'll know what your visitor is thinking and feeling at each point in their journey, what they need to hear next, and how to say it in language that's search-friendly. If you've ever stared at your own website copy wondering where to even begin, these guides will completely change that experience. (And if you'd rather not write it yourself at all, that's what the done-for-you copywriting add-on is for.)
You'll also receive guidance on gathering and uploading your images to our shared folder, so everything is organized and ready to go when the design phase begins.
-

Brand Styling & Homepage
On your project start date, I'll use your strategy and your content to curate your site's color palette, typography, button styles, and a custom wordmark logo. Then I'll design and build your homepage, which becomes the creative and strategic blueprint for the entire site. You'll have a full revision round to request changes, plus a smaller approval round for final tweaks before we move forward.
-

Full Website Build
With your homepage approved, I'll design and build the rest of your site. Every page is built with the same level of intention: clear calls to action, purposeful section flow, and a visitor journey designed to build trust and guide the right people toward taking action. You'll have one revision round across all remaining pages, plus a final approval round for small tweaks.
-

Launch & Support
Your site goes live! You'll receive access to a library of how-to video tutorials so you can confidently manage your site going forward. You'll also have 30 days of email support for any questions that come up after launch.
-
I take on only 1 or 2 website projects at a time, which allows me time to give your site focused attention and a faster turnaround. Because of this, I recommend reaching out at least 3 months in advance of your launch, but the best way to check my current availability is by filling out the inquiry form.
-
Your input is essential in making sure your website aligns with your brand and speaks to your audience. At the start, you'll complete a branding questionnaire, gather your images and assets, and write your copy (with the help of my copywriting guides). If you’d rather not handle copywriting yourself, check out the next FAQ for options.
Once designs are ready, you’ll provide feedback at key points—these review windows will be outlined at the start of the project so you’ll know exactly when to be available. By the time we launch, your website will feel completely aligned with your vision and ready to support your business.
-
The time needed to prepare your content depends on the size of your site and how comfortable you are with writing. Most clients spend about 4 weeks on this phase, though others complete it faster. You’ll receive conversion-focused copywriting guides for the main pages on your site to help streamline the process. If you’d rather not write your own copy, I offer copywriting services as an add-on.
I’ll also provide you with image uploading guides so you know exactly what types of visual content you’ll need to upload to our shared content folder in your client portal.
Since content informs design, your website’s design phase can’t begin until all final content is submitted. This ensures everything flows seamlessly and avoids last-minute changes that could delay the process. I know this part takes work, but I’m here to support you every step of the way!
-
I do accept pre-branded projects on a case-by-case basis. If you already have established branding (logos, color palettes, and/or typefaces), I’d love to hear more! I’ll review your existing branding to ensure it aligns with web best practices and accessibility standards. Fill out my contact form, and we can chat about whether we’re a good fit!
-
Absolutely. All websites are designed to be responsive, ensuring they look and function beautifully on desktops and smartphones.
-
Definitely! One of the main reasons I design on Squarespace is to ensure you have full ownership of your site and the ability to make updates yourself. I’ll provide you with training so you feel confident adding and editing content as your business evolves. My goal is for you to feel empowered to manage your website independently—but if you ever need help with updates down the line, I’m available for ad hoc support as needed.
-
Yes. Here is an example of a package divided into 3 payments:
34% non-refundable deposit at booking
33% at beginning of design period
33% at the established project end date
-
In addition to my design services, here are a few things to factor into your budget:
Squarespace Plan: You will need to subscribe to at least the Core Plan, which is a recurring expense for as long as your site is live. (As a client, you’ll receive a 20% discount on your first year.)
Domain: If you purchase your domain through Squarespace, the first year is free. After that, it will renew annually.
Privacy Policy & Terms: Most countries require websites to disclose how they collect and use visitor data. You can write this yourself, but for full legal protection, I recommend using Termageddon. I will guide you through this process!
Email Service Provider: If you want to collect leads or send email campaigns, you’ll need an email marketing platform like Squarespace Email, Flodesk, or Mailchimp. If you already have one, we can integrate it seamlessly into your site.
Additional Features: If your site requires premium plugins, third-party tools, or custom integrations, we’ll discuss any extra costs upfront so there are no surprises.
-
Your website will be built on Squarespace. I use Squarespace because it’s user-friendly, reliable, and gives you complete ownership over your site, making it easy for you to manage and update content as needed. Plus, with its built-in features and customizable design options, we can create a beautiful, professional website that truly reflects your brand.
-
Since I am typically booked out a few months in advance and tend to receive my design schedule for full site builds, I’m not often able to take on partial site builds. You are welcome to contact me with your project details and I’ll see if I can help.
Please note: I am not taking on small projects or site updates for non-Squarespace websites at this time.
