Creating beautiful, strategic Squarespace sites that befit your talent & help your business keep on blooming.

Creating beautiful, strategic Squarespace sites that befit your talent & help your business keep on blooming.

For established writers, illustrators, and multi-hyphenate creatives…

With businesses that have grown in several directions all at once. Deeply inspired by your work and audience, I design sites that showcase the full range of what you do in one cohesive place.

A potted plant with green leaves, a smartphone displaying a website menu, an open notebook, and a magazine on a white surface.

You’re ready for a website that generates leads, clients, and makes you proud.

You’ve found success in your creative career and business. People want to work with you. They want what you have to offer.

It’s time for your website to join the party.

When you first built your website, doing it yourself made total sense. You're capable, visually literate, resourceful. A DIY site was the practical choice, and it worked just fine for a while.

Maybe your site was built for an earlier version of what you do, but your latest offerings (a new book, workshop, coaching, newsletter, etc.) are hastily tacked on or missing altogether. Maybe the navigation made sense at one time, but it has become a bit jumbled, more hairball-like. Maybe you’ve opened Squarespace on a Saturday afternoon, moved things around, and closed your laptop feeling worse than when you started one too many times.

The frustration is real, but it isn't really about your website. It's about the gap between the excellence of your work, your writing, your services, and what a potential client, customer, or collaborator sees when they land on your URL.

Let’s make that source of frustration a source of pride.

You don’t need to do this by yourself. You also don’t need to sacrifice your values or artistic vision to have a website that serves your bottom line.

You’re here because you want to:

  • Have a beautiful website that befits your talent

  • Generate more leads from your website, BUT in a way that feels good AND looks good

  • Spend more time on your craft or with your clients, and less time on building a website/brand

  • Have a clear, structured, and efficient way to take your digital presence to new heights

  • Be supported by a kind, flexible, organized, and understanding professional through the process

What it’s like to work with Me

I work specifically with creators whose careers are rich, multi-layered, and don’t often fit a standard website format.

Everything you do, in one beautiful place.

I’ll organize everything (your portfolio, books, services, offerings, newsletter, etc.) so the whole picture of your business reads as one creative identity, rather than an array of awesome, but disparate side projects.

Design based on you & your audience.

I dive deeply into your business, your values, and your audience. Once we have a clear understanding of all three, I build a design strategy that complements, elevates, and amplifies your work.

The right people find what you offer.

Everything you do—school visits, readings, coaching, workshops, 1:1 work—is discoverable instead of buried. Each page is designed to educate & build trust so the right people connect with your work.

A process built for creators & owners with busy lives.

You receive access to an organized project portal, copywriting guides written specifically for your kind of work, clear timelines & milestones, and one-business-day communication throughout. You’ll get the best of my virgo brain ;)

“From the initial intake form where Julie asked about my artistic sensibilities and in depth goals, I knew it was the right choice. I’m beyond thrilled with the outcome!”

How it works

A white desk with an open laptop showing a webpage, a white vase with eucalyptus leaves, a small concrete pot on a round wood tray, a closed notebook, and a pair of glasses, set against a backdrop of white vertical blinds.

What’s included

How it works

  • A person sitting at a wooden desk, writing in a notebook with a green pen. They are wearing a loose gray sweater and dark green pants. There's a pink mug, a small tray, and a wicker basket on the desk.

    Clarity Call

This is a free 30-minute video call where we get to know each other. I'll ask about your business, your goals, and what's not working with your current site. You'll get a feel for how I think and whether this feels like a good fit. After our call, I'll put together a personalized proposal with package options based on everything we discussed. If you love what you see, you’ll pay a 34% deposit to book your spot.

  • Tablet displaying a project management or collaboration app on a light-colored fabric surface, with an orange textured notebook and a white stylus pen nearby, also on the fabric.

    Discovery

Once you book, you'll get access to your own Notion project portal with a comprehensive strategy questionnaire inside. You'll tell me everything about your business: your work, any offerings, your ideal clients/customers, where your clients or customers come from, what's working, and what's not.

  • Tablet displaying a home page copy guide on a table with marble surface and wooden floor.

    Guided Content Prep

Within your Notion portal, you'll also receive comprehensive copywriting guides. Each guide is broken down section by section and walks you through exactly what to write and why. You'll know what your visitor is thinking and feeling at each point in their journey, what they need to hear next, and how to say it in language that's search-friendly. If you've ever stared at your own website copy wondering where to even begin, these guides will completely change that experience. (And if you'd rather not write it yourself at all, that's what the done-for-you copywriting add-on is for.)

You'll also receive guidance on gathering and uploading your images to our shared folder, so everything is organized and ready to go when the design phase begins.

  • A laptop displaying a website for Phoebe Wahl, featuring illustrations and information about the illustrator, author, and designer.

    Brand Styling & Homepage

On your project start date, I'll use your strategy and your content to curate your site's color palette, typography, button styles, and a custom wordmark logo. Then I'll design and build your homepage, which becomes the creative and strategic blueprint for the entire site. You'll have a full revision round to request changes, plus a smaller approval round for final tweaks before we move forward.

  • A website displayed on a desktop computer and a mobile phone showing a woman in a red hat and blue sweater, standing outdoors near a stone building with a landscape of fields and mountains in the background. The website features shetland-inspired knitting patterns and accessories.

    Full Website Build

With your homepage approved, I'll design and build the rest of your site. Every page is built with the same level of intention: clear calls to action, purposeful section flow, and a visitor journey designed to build trust and guide the right people toward taking action. You'll have one revision round across all remaining pages, plus a final approval round for small tweaks.

  • A laptop on a white desk displaying a video tutorial playlist with various video thumbnails, titles, and durations. There is a large beige ceramic vase on the left side of the desk and a plain white wall in the background.

    Launch & Support

Your site goes live! You'll receive access to a library of how-to video tutorials so you can confidently manage your site going forward. You'll also have 30 days of email support for any questions that come up after launch.
